Once upon a time, I was a copy/content writer crafting compelling content as well as sales materials. But the more time I spent promoting these products, I realized my true calling lay in enhancing the customer experience from the source which is the product.
I began to ask myself, "Why not build products that genuinely resonate with users?"
In 2021, I embarked on an ambitious journey to disrupt the geolocation industry with an app idea. While that particular venture didn’t pan out, it sparked a newfound passion for Product Management.
I dove headfirst into user stories, market research, and agile methodologies. By early 2022, I officially transitioned into PM, even leading a team in the Google Solutions Challenge shortly thereafter.
Currently, I serve as a Product Manager at RAD5 Tech Hub, where I've recently been promoted to Co-Lead of RAD5 Ventures. In this role, I work with cross-functional Scrum teams to develop tech-enabled solutions for enterprises and individuals. My responsibilities encompass engaging with clients to understand their challenges, conducting research and brainstorming sessions to identify effective solutions, and documenting product requirements. I manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and run agile sprints as both Product Owner and Scrum Master, ensuring smooth collaboration among team members.
A core part of my job is to represent the customer's voice within RAD5, advocating for their best interests throughout the development process. As Co-Lead of RAD5 Ventures, I guide our venture studio in building and maintaining digital solutions for MSMEs in South-eastern Nigeria, providing strategic guidance, hypothesis validation, testing protocols, and training for our venture teams.
My journey has been filled with hands-on experiences across various projects—both voluntary and paid—that have sharpened my skills in product strategy, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making.
I hold a diploma in Product Management from AltSchool, one of Africa's premier tech institutions. My experiences have equipped me with the tools to navigate the complexities of PM life: documentation, effective communication, user-centric design, and agile project execution.
If you're looking for a PM who combines clear communication with collaborative spirit and treats every product like their own baby, we’ll be a great fit!
Oh, and on the side, I'm also a published fiction author (check out my new book, "The Smell of Dead Bodies"). I think that creative spark makes me an even better PM!
